Green Pear Heights is a super cozy BYOB located at 93 Franklin Street. (Nestled in between Sherman Avenue and Hancock Avenue). The restaurant’s menu offers a mix of European food that ranges from goulash to a variety of pastas. Entrees range from $18 to $20 and the dishes we tried included generous portions for the price. (More importantly, they were also delicious).

Earlier this month, we spoke to Isabella Molnar-Megyeri, a local restauranteur and owner of Green Pear Café in Hoboken and Jersey City Heights. For her, Green Pear’s mission is more than just one of providing meals and table service. The former Hungarian opera singer has always been in the business of bringing people together. She opened her two businesses, particularly The Heights location, with a community-oriented mentality—merging ideals of art, dining and design.

Hoboken’s Green Pear Cafe Opening Jersey City Heights Location

The Green Pear Cafe, which opened nearly four years ago along Grand Street in Hoboken, has expanded into the middle of a Jersey City neighborhood. The Heights is now home to the next location of this local business, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the existing Hoboken location. Menu items in Hoboken include omelets, sandwiches, crepes, salads, and smoothies.
